A really beautiful game, the art style was very nice and the animations very smooth.

Defiantly went to town on the single input which was used for a variety of moves.

However on going to play the game i was require to install a component for game maker which i'm not sure if was against the rules or not. Either way installed anyway based on the look of the game and was not disappointing.

The only thing i will say was it felt very strange not being able to move, i sort of stood there waiting for the opponent to eventually come and attack me so i could do anything. When he did i attempted to get off a variety of these different moves but found winning really just involves pressing space as fast as you can.

Love the concept and the execution of the game overall, wondering if maybe a fighting game isn't  the greatest idea for a single input game. That being said i did really enjoy it and would love to see a version that allows for more input!

Thanks for the feedback man, it seems a lot of people are thrown off at first by the lack of normal movement. Obviously since I made the game I was used to using the somersault kick to move around, but it's not immediately intuitive.

In terms of a more fully fledged version, I was planning on using a similar mechanic to this in a full RPG at some point (obviously with more freedom of control) where encounters with enemies put you into a Mortal Kombat style fight.
