yeah, as a non-code-focused person I've always been confused by this. Arent all games .exe's? What other options are there, aside from running the game in browser?

If you are using Unity for example, Unity Windows releases have a certain structure of folders and files. "Looks and feels like a game" sort of speaking, like this one.  (sorry if the image looks extremely large :D looks ok in my desktop)


ah I see. I've always used an engine called clickteam fusion, which has always had strange issues with virus detection software that sort of thing. I intend to switch to something a little more ubiquitous soon. Thanks for the info!
