What the fuck did I just play? This game is amazing.

Okay, let me just write some notes here:

- The art is amazing. I love this aesthetic both in the exploration and dance phases

- Why do I need to hold m1 to use the lantern? I'd think that you'd want it out more than not. Why not hold m1 to put it away instead? Also, there doesn't seem to be a point to it, I'd think it'd stop the monster from following you if you put it away, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

- The dance game part is hilarious. The voice lines are fantastic. Reminds me of Parapa the Rappa

- The sound queue to start doing your part of the dance isn't very noticeable. Also, you leave the buttons on screen, so where's the challenge?

- Why is it that even if I get all the dance moves right, the monster still eats me?

- The actual point of the game seems to be to collect a dress THEN a disco ball (Doesn't seem to work in the other order?) and then place them on a mannequin that then spawns a giant ass key to open the exit...fucking what?

- The optimal play seems to be to avoid the dance game all together, but that's the fun part

Overall, fucking sweet game. Love the aesthetic, the voice lines are hilarious, well done and what the fuck?

Glad you found it hilarious!

As you saw there were a lot of things that don't quite make sense.

The monster is NOT supposed to eat you even if you get everything right and so on.

That's because we overscoped and had to tie a whole bunch of unfinished systems into a playable game in like 2 hours.

The initial idea was for the player to solve a bunch of puzzles from which he gets several items. These items could then be put on a mannequin. The monster would see the best dancer in the world in that mannequin ... his own reflection in the disco ball.  And so he would continue to dance with it until the end of time giving you a chance to escape.
