The field card varied; it was always the first field card introduced into the deck, but it happened when I tried the knights route, the kobolds, and the amphibians. I didn't try the Anubis path.
I'm using a Windows 7 machine, if that is useful to know.
Also, and this might sound crazy, but have you seen any of the characters or objects fall through the floor? We actually had an issue similar to this last year, and it turned out to be a really strange bug with the collision. We thought we fixed it. If it is that, changing the aspect ratio of the game might act as a temporary fix.
Hi, sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. I have not seen any objects fall through the floor.
My video card is very old--an AMD Radeon R7 200 Series. Also, I did a video capture of the glitch. The top of the screen is a little cut off but you should be able to see what's going on. I try to drag the field card onto the field but it just slides back into my hand. Halfway through the video I switched the game settings from "drag to place card" to "click to place card" and the results are the same.
Video may be seen here: https://www.screencast.com/t/JFWMW8lntv2
Please let me know if the link doesn't work.
Thanks!

Hey Jennifer,
Sorry for another late response. We took a look at the video and the card, and the game SHOULD run on that card based on what version of open GL we're using. The card is pretty old though. My brother's going to look at what the most obvious culprits but this isn't going to be something we can easily troubleshoot.
We'll do our best, but I'm afraid I can't make any promises.

Hi Chad,
Just to follow up, I recently downloaded the game onto my laptop--a Microsoft Surface Book--and it's running just fine. Placing field cards works without a problem! The laptop is not optimized for gaming, so my mouse drags a bit, but if I switch to Tablet mode and use the touch screen, the game is perfectly playable.
Thanks again for looking into the bug. If it's not resolved at this point, that's okay, since I am now able to play the game.
Cheers,
Jennifer
