Awww that flippin bug has led to the end of many MonMon journeys. I got around to the boss a bit late into the jam, so there's a good chance the lightning ability might not be well-balanced. I love seeing people compare it to Hollow Knight. That's one of my favorite solo player games! Our music producer came on board late into the jam, but she absolutely popped off.  Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game and comment!
