No they're not the same version. Public version doesn't have all the maps because of hacking to unlock them or just looking at the image folders for images that are not in the public version.
If you're talking about gameplay-wise, I make the public versions from the patreon version.
Alright, thanks for clearing that up. Also, really enjoy this game, already played through the 0.7 version, enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait for the next version to come out.
