This game is a bit over the place. While the VGA is a show about video games, it is not necessarily a game show. But there's no need to be so spiteful if the game is alright.

Gameplay wise, it's a bit generic. You were doing a parody of the VGA, but now it's a platformer? A platformer that, for 3 levels only, has some very unique level designs. Usually one would go and collect every ray bottle recharge because refilling ammo is a natural thing to do. However, going to get said ammo leaves you with less rather than more (aka using ray ammo to collect more ray ammo will leave you unable to complete levels).

Now you might say, "Oh, but you shouldn't wasting your ammo anyways..." Yes, but this forces the player to solve the game unnaturally. A solution may look obvious when looking at something as a whole, but it's only because you have to retry and fail multiple times to solve a simple section.

The main reason why I gripe is because I wanted more. I wanted more levels, I wanted maybe more jokes, maybe some relevancy to the whole VGA thing instead of just a throwaway explanation and a loose connection to a theme. Constructive criticism aside, this is an interesting game that caught my eye with its premise.

First of all, thanks for playing! I know my game is not perfect, of course.

I knew that 3 levels only might have been a bit too few, i was focused on getting the game done and then in the end add some more levels, but didnt get aroung to do it.

The thing with the rays is understandable, although if use your ray correctly you can gain plus 1(You have to be really close to the enemies to kill more at once). But i understand that its not obvious and not well communicated.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback! maybe i should have done a little more playtesting and some of these issues may have been eliminated.
