Beautiful environment.

Is there a "full" horror story you were able to implement? I'll give the game a go.

I have a "full" horror story with a 8+ hour gameplay, but my laptop isn't really that good, and Unreal Engine crashed over 17 times while making this game, in a course of 4 days. I planned to wait for a while before implementing the full gameplay because I can't at the moment, even though I wanna. My laptop can barely handle the game at 18fps at Ultra. So, it's just not possible for me to make the full game with the WHOLE gameplay 😔

I understand! When I fist began to use Unreal it crashed a lot. I am used to it now and use plugins to keep me from losing my work. And yeah, that game does look like it would be a little difficult to run on a laptop. I will test it on my PC and let you know what I get in terms or framerates!

My laptop's specifications are as follows:

Intel i5 @2.50ghz

16gb RAM

Nvidia 940MX 4gb GPU

5400RPM HDD

And I can't really afford anything new, plus, my hard disk is probably damaged too. So, the main problem is my GPU and my hard disk. The processor seems to work just fine, even on scenes which require a LOT of processing power. To make "The Shrine" I modifies my BIOS to use the integrated Intel HD620 and my 940mx together to be able to process the graphics of the scene. It all stressed out my laptop so much that it slowed down more than a 1995 computer. Although a simple restart fixed the slowing down, but now my epic games launcher isn't working. So there's a lot I need to fix before I could implement a full story.

An intel i5? (It's a nightmare for building lighting)

A 5400rpm drive?

I am sorry friend :[

And sadly, I was not able to extract the archive properly. I downloaded both. Anything specific I need to do?

Yeah, it sure is a nightmare to build lighting. It took over 4 hours for me to build the lighting.

And, nothing specific, just try to download them again, and put them in the same folder and click "extract here". It should work, or else I'll try to upload a better archive. It's just, with the laptop I have, it's hard to do anything..😅
