I like the concept, and really wanted to play this one more, but I think the controls and physics need a lot of work, and there isn't very good feedback on what I'm doing.

For one, the physics itself seem really inconsistent. I never seem to fall or jump in the same way every time, and it makes the platforming sections really difficulty.

Secondly have my momentum be completely locked while in the air is super frustrating. I wasn't able to play through much, because once I figured out what I was supposed to do, the execution was just frustrating. It makes it impossible to correct mistakes, and I would just keep dying because I wasn't absolutely perfect and have to start all over again even though I knew what to do. Constantly failing to jump because I didn't press the arrow exactly before the jump button was annoying.

For example, on the level where we learn what bouncy can do, I would consistently over shoot the jump to the second butcher knife, and would miss it by just a few inches, and have to start the level all over again.

Another thing that happened was on the next level, I got 2 of the eggs over to the exit, and my last egg I was trying to get to fall onto the knife. But I let go of the arrow too early, and my momentum just disappeared right over the water, and I couldn't move, and I died. That's when I quit.

On the feedback, there really needs to be some audio or visual cue for when my ability is working. But also, I'm not sure how they work. Bouncy's never made sense to me, I just kept bouncing in odd ways and had a lot of trouble getting up to the lever. I thought it was going to be like a wall jump, but it wasn't. And the game says that floaty can change direction on the second jump, but you can only do that if you are already moving. The level I quit on was extra frustrating because I got floaty over there, flipped the lever, jumped once to get up to height, and thought I could change direction to the exit when I jumped again, but no, I just jumped up again.

On the controls, I don't see why we needed the z key. I feel like the ability could be mapped to the jump button just fine.

Thanks for the feedback. Points taken.

I understand the physics consistency issue, since eggs don't slides on the floor but hop getting back to the exact same position difficult, but there is a level of tolerance to overcome the difficulty. You can jump and land even you miss the edge boundary.  Hopefully I will be able to make the movement more precised in the future.

You cannot move during a jump is all intentional, the puzzle is build on the principle projectile motion a.k.a Eggs don't fly, and each eggs has their signature trajectory. Adding a ghosting effect or trailing particles might give enough visual cue.

I agree that Bouncy's wall-bouncing (not wall-jumping) capability is under used, in fact Hardy's special power has not been introduced in the game. All the 3 eggs with their different abilities, pauses their unique disadvantage, one can spot bouncy easily. In fact bouncy has the best jump trajectory for the obstacles I think this can be improved with better visual effects.

Also need to improve the tutorial tips to make it less confusing.

Yes, I played through again and beat it this time with a lot more ease than the first one, and I felt like I was being a little too harsh.

I want to say, that I think your art looks very good, and I like the palette that was chosen.

Looking back, and knowing what was and what isn't intentional, I think the main problem is a lack of feedback and tutorials. I think there needs to be a couple more tutorial levels at the beginning that demonstrate and reinforce that jumping is more akin to a projectile rather than flying.

I think the idea of each egg having its own trajectory and unique advantages and disadvantages is a really cool one, but I wasn't aware that they had different trajectories and so it just felt like the game was being buggy to me.
