what do you use to make games

(1 edit) (+1)

Hi Abdullah33, thank you for joining our jam. I highly suggest joining our Discord server, although these jams are public, they're mainly geared towards our community at GameDevHQ. You'll fit right in and Discord is an amazing free tool to communicate with friends and like-minded people.

Secondly, there is a hard rule that all games are to be made using Unity as their engine. Again this is because GameDevHQ is primarily focused on teaching game development using Unity's ecosystem and the language used C#

sad. I don't have unity either. Or know how to code

Can you teach me how to code since that is what your jam is focused on

so can i not participate?

How would you partake in the jam? What are your interests in game development. Are you a programmer, level designer, asset creator, music composer? These are all things that fall under basic game development. If you don't know how to code I can point you to resources that can help you HERE.

That doesn't mean you can't partake. You could probably still work with someone and create their art or audio assets if that's your inclination or help with ideas and such for the jam. But if you want to be a developer as in designing or coding a game then you have to use Unity.
Hope this explains everything clearly

ok thanks i wont be participating then

sorry i can't buy your product but thanks anyway
