Nice idea, and I think that forcing you to fill one page before moving onto the next is a cool and unique concept I've never seen before in a programming game. There are a bunch of little things which drag down the experience, though-- As an example, it's hard to tell how many tiles you need to move, since each tile is actually made of four smaller tiles. The GUI when you're writing in the book is also a little confusing. Next time you make a game, try having someone else beta test it for you, and where they get confused, add something to help explain to the player how it works. It always helps me a ton, and I think it would help you make stuff even better.
