Maybe it's just because I'm not a huge fan of survival game mechanics, but I feel like this needs something more in the core loop than just fulfilling two ever-draining life bars. Perhaps there was more later, but I just couldn't bring myself to go back and try again after I died. The art is nice and the music is nice, and there could be something there with the wacky mutator concept. But there really just needs to be something more to the core loop to hook the player.
