Nice game, every time i see godot engine used for any kind of project (especially 2d), i'm happy! The gameplay loop is there, and i like the idea of a rope-fueled toy story rocket flying towards the infinite.
I did not really see the theme in there unfortunately. Little side notes: next time try to, instead of putting colliders on the side of the map to keep the player inside, clamp its position between the 4 vertices of the viewport. That way it will not have any friction and you can move smoothly on the sides of the level. Another little thing, i would have liked the game elements a little smaller, like a little bullet hell! Anyway, good job on finishing it, and i like the art style!
