Are you running it on a toaster, or with some weird limitations on creating files in AppData\Roaming?
Just tested on a W10 machine with 8GB RAM, a 2.4GHz 4-core processor and a crappy on-board graphics card and it didn't crash.
8Gb, 2.2 quad, graphics is nvidia >limitations on creating files in appdata/roamingplenty of games have folders in there, so that shouldn't be it either strange indeed
Well, all it can be then is a faulty download or zip extract. You can try re-downloading and extracting if you have the patience.
