Very well-polished game. I really liked the retro vibe, graphics, sounds and UI fit great together. Nice touch with the change of stats and weapon which I think I've seen several times already in this jam. It did get a bit boring after wave 10 as I felt that the guns start repeating and there was no so much diversity in enemies or stats. Different level layouts or some boss fights from time to time would make it more fun I think. Also, adding some more of that background story (the intro was promising!). in between. But maybe it's just me. Anyway, really great job making such a neat game in just 48 hours!
