That's a super dope article! That's the exact kind of AI shit I'm into: AIs and/or ships using humans as their avatars/organizing intelligences/talking subsystems, and what that means .

ETA: OH MAN and when I saw this comment I went and checked out your stuff and your art is so beautiful?! I don't know how to praise art except to say "it feels harmonious and makes my eyes happy." (Also I am very bad at this little mobile game.)

yeah this article always really stuck with me!! i've wanted to look at the source material it was discussing because it was such a vivid image for me. i was really sucked into it.

Just the other day I was tweeting, man, is everything I write in the second person going to be Hamsteak-inflected for the rest of my life? Are these the wages of my sin? I just looked and that sure was four years ago............ time flies. Which is to say: thanks!!! The immediate instinct is to self-deprecate but I did write some stuff I was very proud of at the time. hi-5. Praise all around. And yeah, I was talking about the Woodsman! It's very beautiful. The eye effect, where the background follows the player's movements? Dope.

I was once recced 80 Days as something similar to Sunless Sea, which is my nice relaxing comfort time game, and I've always thought it looked cool but this is the push I need to check it out.
