Not gonna lie you had me in the first half. I was like "Oh, this is a generic platformer with nothing interesting happening" but then I fell through a block and ended up in a slenderman-esque labyrinth where I collected pages until Carl Wheeze from Jimmy Neutron scared the ever living daylights out of me and then was thrown again into a top-down shooter where a million thoughts were running through my head and I was excited to see where the game would take me next. The visuals aren't that great and audio is more or less good, but those things are eclipsed by how interesting and unique this game actually was. This game is a textbook example of not judging a book by its cover. Very fantastic work, would 100% play the sequel.
