I really liked this game.

- The graphics are awesome.

- The way you used the theme reminded me a lot of Hollow Knight, where Soul is used to cast spells and heal yourself.

- Combat was awesome too.

There are some things I did not like tho.

- Firstly, you can cheese pretty much every encounter/ambush/boss by making them get stuck on walls/ by knowing that you will be attacked and use the powerful shot from your last point of health.

- Another thing was that I honestly thought the checkpoints were unreachable. I only found out after beating the last boss that I can get to them. IMO you should have made that more clear.

- I thought that there would be a final boss at the end! I feel kinda disappointed there wasn't one tbh.

- Lastly, there were several HUGE frame-rate drops that made playing the game way harder.

Even though I had those frame-rate drops, I beat the game and enjoyed it a lot. Good stuff!

Hey thanks for your feedback! Yeah the enemy AI definitely needed more work and I see now how the breakable walls should have been made more clear. I would've loved too have put a big boss in at the end but that one week time constraint yknow? Also your right the frame drops are super annoying and the game does need to be optimized. Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you again for your feedback :)

I totally understand what you said about the time constraints... do you have any idea on what's causing the performance issues btw?

I think Its the amount of objects that end up getting created and destroyed that also have collision code in them. I think it also just runs poorly on HTML5 for some reason because I get way better frames when I'm running the windows version

yeah, webGL kinda sucks. I wish the same amount of people would play and rate the games if they were not in a WebGL build. It usually just causes soooo much trouble...

Yeah exactly, but oh well. If I keep working on this game after the jam It'll be released for windows anyways so at least the performance shouldn't be a big long term issue.
