For a first game, this is pretty nice! I love the artstyle, and the simple waves animation, the core gameplay itself is a bit confusing.. I didnt really understand it that well, and the tutorial was a bit long.
Also a recomandation for next time, Leave a few hours at the end of the game jam to make sure everything works and to fix last minuet bugs.
Its a really nice first game, and i hope you will continue improving your skills.
