Great submission! It's horror undertones were awesome, and the story and it's method of telling were great! The character sprite is probably my favorite piece of art I've seen in the jam so far. I do wish that the movement was faster, and I can see how the storytelling method *could* be said to fit the theme, but I wish it was a little more connected to it. Regardless, those are small things! Fantastic submission!

Wow, thanks! I really appreciate that. I definitely worked hard on the character animations. My use of the theme was a little abstract I admit. My aim was to make a game where the mechanics were really stripped down so you could focus on the story and atmosphere, a la design by subtraction, but the story itself definitely could have been on theme a little more, I agree.
