An incredibly charming use of sound that, that together with the general direction and tone elevated the experience beyond the sometimes awkward-intentional or not-platforming controls.
- My favorite part was that first duck death. After the lovely main menu, the tone was all set, and had me playing through and was glad to finish it.
The art was also satisfyingly squishy and the presentation in general fit together really well.
- For my experience playing, I didn't feel there was difficulty or main engagement from the platforming. So it might have been harder to implement, but wall climbing where your character was just slower up the wall with more ducks would have felt more comfortable for the pretty casual journey through the game. Additionally just holding to shoot would have been nice. Together that would have made me even happier going through the game.
