This game was pretty fun, but as I looked at the screenshots after finishing the game.. I realized I was missing much of the core game mechanics. I knew the numbers and color bar at the top of the screen was supposed to have meaning, but I couldn't figure it out while playing. So, I beat the game in my base form, hahaha. There must have been instructions in-game that I must have sped by.

So, the controls were very responsive, and the movement felt buttery smooth. The art was also appealing in a way, even though the background felt like it had a different style from the player and enemies. The bookshelves and desk reminded me of Pokemon for some reason.

The music and sounds were great, but maybe the background music could have changed every 3 floors or so, that would have keep the experience fresh.

So, the only problem I would say is, for players like me, make the intended game mechanic clear as day, otherwise we will jump right into the game and miss the most important parts.

Well done!

Thanks for the feedback :D

Instructions were written in the tutorial levels floor but i can see how someone can miss that i will be careful about that next time :)

As for the similarities to pokemon is I was playing soul silver and i liked how the tables looked like so i used them as a reference when drawing my tables :d

I wanted to add each floor its own music  but there was no time left :/ (That is why there is a tutorial level music :D)

I am glad that you have played and gave feedback to my game. Thanks for playing  :)
