Hey nice job, I actually liked “The Will of the Wind”, the drums kinda caught me by surprise when the beat dropped haha :)

Let Fortunes Be Told — This one was a lot of fun. Like, I really love this song haha.

But overall, everything was great!

Just commenting on a couple that stuck out to me.

Vaelen Village — The instruments used kinda sounds like the player is underwater with the harp going up and down the scale, and having a very muffled sound. I don’t know how best to explain it, but it just sounds like how music could dynamically change depending on where you are in the level/world.

Adventure Begins — Captures the player leaving off perfectly, I love it.

Vaelen Woods — Probably my favorite, sounds like I’d see a bunch of forest critters running around haha

Your work is amazing, these sound like they came right out of a game. I hope these get used one day!

Feels like I’m drifting off in space when listening, great job! Gotta love the atmospheric music.

Sorry, I don’t have tips to offer, but I really enjoyed the music. Seems like it would fit well in those atmospheric/art based games too. Very calming!

“Ship Repairs” made me think it was a type of village theme at first before reading your description.

“The Trade Ships” kinda has a spooky feel to it haha

Good work!

Loved when the horns came in for the final fight during the first section, gave me chills haha

Both of these songs were awesome, great job!

All of these are superb! I want to point out “Wishing Well” because it has the exact sound I’d imagine for a  credits/“Thanks for playing”/etc. Those types of songs indicating the journey is finally over always get me choked up haha

Great work!

Thanks for listening!

Well done! I agree with others in saying that adding some variation to the bass could help reduce the repetitiveness.

Really liked the switch up with the third track!

Nice work :) I definitely want "My Only Wish" to have some lyrics!

Love the tension the fourth track brings. Someone tell these poor soul what's coming after them! haha

I definitely enjoyed the second track. Captured being under the night sky quite well. For some reason I kept expecting singular notes from a piano to play over the ambient sounds and plucked string instrument.

Nice job!

Really enjoyed the main theme! After reading the game genre, and listening to the second track, I imagined something like the game Nights haha

Great work!

Cool, you can message me on Discord:

Hey, are you still looking for teammates? I’m a developer (use Phaser 3 — JavaScript)

Yeah, it was a bit too difficult for me too. I had trouble just trying to test that levels could be completed, haha. But I'll continue to work on it. Glad you enjoyed it :)

I agree. I wanted to add a lot more easier levels to get used to the movement, but unfortunately ran out of time. I do need to work on my level design in general. Thanks for the feedback, once the voting period ends I really hope to update this game.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks! Yeah, I definitely need to work on my level design, because that level is still hard for me haha.

I was able to debug the matrix! I really wish there was a mini map to display where the enemies were, but still had fun.

I really appreciate your feedback! Yeah, I didn't really get to start on my entry until there was only a couple days left. The game desperately needs some audio hahaha.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm sure my terrible level design didn't help with the difficulty either haha, but I was in a rush.

Yeah, I still think the hands can be tweaked to be a bit more forgiving :D

Haha, glad it was fun. I still find myself accidentally dying a lot!

Thank you for the kind words, glad it was fun.

Thanks so much! :)

I was waiting for the next level to appear until I noticed the levels changed as you killed the cooties. I wish there were a set amount of entities per level as I feel it would have felt more rewarding.

Good job!

Y'all did a great job with this game! Everything in the game is superb.

One improvement would be not placing enemies directly next to spawn points. Sometimes when I jumped up to the next room and enemy would be almost directly in the same spot I spawned in the room. This would unfortunately cost me a heart at times.

LOVE the art! This was a very interesting game. Definitely a neat take to the theme. This would have been really cool on a Nintendo DS.

As others have mentioned, the mouse controls were a little wonky for me as I found myself on the edge of the screen trying to grab words. The text was also a little hard to follow especially when its set to disappear a second after it is complete.

Note: I killed the frog with the mask, I guess he doesn't respawn haha.

Really solid entry! At first I didn't know I could walk through the broken security robots, so I was stuck for a while, but luckily accidentally noticed that I could haha. I honestly think the game would work really well with more neon colors. Once again, nice work :)

I wish I could use the left/right arrow keys for changing direction and acceleration. It is very difficult to hit any of the bugs. Also, in my opinion I think the acceleration is too fast.

Bug: I could not use the space bar when I tried to play again (maybe intended? haha).

I really liked playing through this game :) I would have love if the camera would be more dynamic. For example, the initial chase from the ant, maybe the camera could have zoomed in and effects on the edges of the camera could appear to make the situation intense.

Congrats on finishing your entry! I think the game could be improved by offering more points when squishing the ants closer to the picnic basket. Currently, you are award the same amount of points no matter where you squish the ants.

Neat game! Also, that music is waaaay too catchy. I love it :D

I think I found a bug... :) However, I'm not sure how to reproduce it. I moved the spider over to the far right before the camera left me behind and it just kept going.

The game was pretty neat, however, good job!

Hello! We currently make up a team of 2 (Programmer and a Composer).

We are in need of a pixel artist. If you'd like to join please let me know!

Sent you a friend request on Discord (if you haven't already joined a team).

Hello! I'm pretty familiar with GameMaker as I've used it since GM 6 I believe. Are there any pixel artist and sound designers that want to team up?
