Very cool, nice and simple. To improve car audio you can try changing the pitch based on the vehicle speed, something like: 

audio.pitch = Mathf.Clamp(carSpeed / maxSpeed, 0.01f, 1f); 

and clamping it to make sure it goes from 0.01 to 1 (im pretty sure pitch 0 will not play any sound), it should improve the audio.

Actually, I am doing something similar already but my car sound clip is messed up as It's very hard to find a good quality free sound for cars. But Really appreciate that you stop by and comment. 😊
