I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like Raenelle, but I'm glad you at least liked the love interests and the art and music! Raenelle is intended to be a realistic, if a bit flawed, character, with reasons and past events that shaped who she is today. She will go through her own character development and overcome her struggles over the course of the story, and I'm hopeful that her arc will be satisfying to those who stay with her till the end.
