Interesting idea, reminds me of an old Nitrome game I played when I was a kid. The difficulty jumps up though one you introduce the enemies. I think they could be add a bit more gradually.
That's good to hear! I love Nitrome games. Also, I agree with you about the difficulty spike, I think I will add more levels in the future and balance the existing ones.
