I'm stumped, this is clearly the correct answer! 😡

No? Tried it the other way around (so that 2 was on right too) like a madman.

Also tried 63*9 but obviously in this the sum didn't quite add up and nothing worked on that slot.

The rest of the puzzles (I think think this was the only one left for me anymore) were easy enough. Almost got dunked on in the block pushing one but more on that later...

So I was almost thinking of calling it a day for playing and rating when I saw that adorable cover art and I just had to click it. Needless to say that the game looks and sounds awesome. The only things to really nitpick about the visuals are in the speech box. The font didn't really fit the overall look of the game otherwise and I felt like the character name on it was incorrectly aligned too close to the edge. Also when text was scrolling in, a word could start on the first line and then suddenly jump to second one when it got more letter. Obviously not a huge but these minor things really matter in such an overall polished look.

Oh and if you want me to get even more nitpicky, I've got you covered! 😅 Beginning the game with the main character on the side of the screen and a very similar looking one (obviously based on the cover art) slapped right in the middle was a bit confusing for a good second. And controls being locked here until the tutorial message is shown doesn't help either.

The gameplay then on the other hand wasn't quite perfect. Even for how little of it there really was. The controls felt a bit janky, for example there were some weird speed boosts and odd movement delays that were very unimmersive. And the clolliders of some things were waaaay too huge. The main offender here was the pushable blocks. You could push em around from the other side of the earth I think. Almost got stuck because the red one got pushed all the way down to that small alley just my moving back and forth the two first NPCs. Fortunately after a good minute of grinding myself on that block it finally came loose and I was able to manoeuvre it to the correct spot.

Aight, I've got not much else to say really. Very good job! 👍

Thanks so much for playing our game and thanks for the awesome feedback! The issues you have brought up were common ones faced by our players. It is clear to see that a little playtesting on our end would have gone a long way (especially for the number puzzle), but so is the nature of game jams and we'll keep it in mind for our next one! As a team of 3 fledgling game creators, this is very welcome feedback. Thank you and enjoy playing the other game jam games!

Cool cool. But it's killing me, what is the correct solution for the number puzzle? You can DM me it on Discord or comment it on my game page or something if you don't want to spoil it here.

Sure thing. I think ill do a little explaining for those who find themselves in a similar boat. So the first digit has to do with symmetry (a number that can be folded both ways and still look the same) so your options are really zero or eight. the second hint is specifically referring to a number that when split vertically in two looks like a new number so if we look at our numbers for slot one, eight is the only one it can be (creating three). the third digit (probably the one that confused the most people) was OUR sum (cryptically referring to the sum of all the characters, AKA being "stronger together") so all you would need to do is count up the characters (including Piko) totaling six. The final digit was a reflection of the first and eight being symmetrical is also eight. I wanted to make sure you got your answer (and anyone else looking for one) without it being easily spoiled. and if you find you have the time I recommend playing the game all the way through as there is a neat little ending scene :) (i was a little bummed people weren't seeing it because we made the puzzles too hard)

Okay, I was thinking of numbers for their values and not the shapes. And yes, I think the third one seems like bit of a stretch, I was thinking this in terms of sum of the (other) numbers too. I was kinda close too when I tried to start and end with eight based on the last hint too but was still going wrong with thinking the second would be half of the number and not visually half of it. And obviously third one too but would have come to correct one on this since I tried to loop through the whole thing.

So basically my solution of 2185 was completely correct but just thinking from different angle. So it's kinda like if you give a math student a test where they need to solve a quadratic equation but only accept one of the answers.

MOTHER****** the only one I understood was the last and third one but the first I thought is an even number and the second is half of the first so divide by 2, so it means literally what the tips mention XD
