I believe you are using an older version of builder plugin with GMS2.3.x - I have a fork with some additional safety checks (that I haven’t pull-requested back yet) on GitHub.

Updated to the newest builder, problem still stands tho

There are no more error messages the problem still persist

See if it happens on the new beta. If it does, I’ll need more details (e.g. if this only happens in this specific project; if renaming your appdata folder fixes it).

Downloaded new beta and deleted all my configuration files, created a new project just to test it and it happens still.

I believe it stops happening after you compile, but it seems fairly random, only thing that is consistant is that after it stops happening on an instance of gmedit it stops forever on that instance.

Would like to say that it is just an inconvenience i wouldn't care if it was on the very bottom of a todo list

Based on that description I would assume that it’s something to do with plugins - have you tried renaming your plugin folder specificially (so that you start up with no plugins loaded) and then putting them back one by one until you find the “offender”?
