The mix of styles is a bit of a hodge-podge! But obviously a lot of creativity went into this.

Wow, timeeeeee!  Your Heartsbeat game was awesome...the stethoscope to spy on hearts was ingenious.

Do you share your code?  I'm assuming the cards came from Kenney, and I'm curious how you laid them all out for the game.  I have been wanting to build a bridge game using Godot for my friends and I to play remotely.

Thanks for the recognition...it means a lot to me.  Yes, everytime I rewatch the video, my little Grey Heart feels like he had some tomato paste, and I dream of Cheri Tomato.

Still planning to work on Heart Today Gone Tomato, and merge with Action RPG

I would love to hear your input, and see if...perhaps...*shyly*...see if you might want to work together on the next jam?

;-)

That is a super nice message :) I just uploaded my project to github https://github.com/timeeeee/Heartsbeat/. I'm pretty new to game programming so I don't know if I did any of this the best way! But I was pretty content with the approach - nodes to mark positions on the table, and lots of yielding so I could script the gameplay in chronological order. I'd be happy to talk about it, if you think it would help you out.

I think it would be great to work together on the next jam. Do you use discord? (If so I'm timeeeee #0113)

Nifty!  I have been looking through all your code...so neat and tidy.  ;-)

I am HanumanjiYogi#7647 on Discord, and just sent you a Friend Request.

Looking forward to some more Godot with you!
