This game really is more than the sum of its parts for me.
Even though the face doesn't have any gameplay impact, it gave me an enemy to fight that motivated me very well.
Thematically the game works from a story perspective, and from a gameplay perspective. It's very interesting that sometimes getting hit is a failure state and sometimes it's a win state.
