Very nice game!
The gameplay was fun, and the combo meter really helped by putting a risk-reward system in
I also really like the story you made
This was a pretty fun game! The art direction i felt could've gone a little better, and the SFX wasn't the best, but the gameplay was really cool. The addition of the combo meter is awesome, it provides a new level of strategy and a risk-reward decision. Great game!
This game started out ok, but once I noticed the damage multiplier, it got way better. Simple yet very fun and addictive. Well done :)
Small yet delightful game, I especially like how well the "Tuturiol" is designed. Controls take a little bit of time to get used too but once that is done it's fun trying manage your health while also having to "kill yourself" ;)
I really like the simplistic art style although having half the screen filled with the soul thief can be kind of distracting at times
I will see the soul stealer mocking me in my dreams. Liked the increase in difficulty/ new attacks as the soul stealer takes damage.
Nice game! It was a pretty fun little game and it was very simple to understand what to do, so good work! The game itself felt good to control and the dash mechanic was a fun addition too. One thing I would've liked would be more heart drops, since a lot of the time I was just waiting for another one whilst I was still on one heart, but the obstacles helped make that more fun. The menu was nice and simple too, although I did notice a few typos in the tutorial - but they don't really affect gameplay, so it's not that big of a deal. I really liked this game though, great work!
Completely forgot about the dash until after I had already won. Might be a bit unnecessary haha. The damage stacking mechanic was pretty fun. Seems like the most effective strategy is to have 3 hearts, wait for a heart to spawn and then right before it's about to despawn, start running into enemies. You can get up to 5 damage that way. Good game. Well done!
Ya the dash isn't the most necessary because running through damage is encouraged but the main reason I implemented it was for game feel and clutch plays when at one heart but it diffidently isn't useful every time. Glad you liked the damage stacking, I completely agree on your strat, (not to brag but I used a strat like that to get a time of 46 seconds [course now being the dev makes doing that a bit easier lol]), I think its a fun though cause it gets the player to go down to one health in exchange for high damage dealing.
Thanks for the feed back :)
I love the wacky face movement, and the sounds feel really juicy. Cool game!
The score multiplier gives you an incentive to actually die, aka lose more than one heart at a time making you vulnerable for the third one being lost, nice
This game really is more than the sum of its parts for me.
Even though the face doesn't have any gameplay impact, it gave me an enemy to fight that motivated me very well.
Thematically the game works from a story perspective, and from a gameplay perspective. It's very interesting that sometimes getting hit is a failure state and sometimes it's a win state.
I really really like this one <3
Realy good story for such simple game.
It was realy cool my record is 1 minute and 51 seconds love to see a update with a new attack
Nice game!
Pretty nice concept! I'd love to see a "fullscreen" version of that game, it has potential. Couldn't figure out how close it was to the topic actually :-D
