These are both great ideas! I will see if I can add a special switch so that if you wish to preserve your original file names, you can do so. Right now Jav-It uses the proper ID that websites like R18 uses to catalog videos. For example, "RBD00513" vs "RBD-513". The reason why those sites do so, is to avoid collisions (Duplicate videos which happen to have the same ID). If you really prefer using the informal DVD code, I can do it, but I would think the proper ID is better for catalog purposes?
