No worry I absolutely love to see people enjoying our game and writing so much structured and helpfull comments :D
I'll answer the last paragraph because it's my fault xD. We did not playtest a lot this game, you were right the climbing plant was a mechanic completely bugged at the end normally you just had to press the space. But at build or maybe just before I messed it up ;-;. The jump activate itself when the spacebar is released just a line to fix but its too late x).
