Nice efficiently made entry! The opening cut scene did get a chuckle out of me. I liked how simple the mechanics were, and the little bit of puzzle solving involved in each room. The flavor text on the explorable items was well written. Sound was appropriate. Nothing mind-blowing.

Would be interested in some variations of the combat. For a longer game it would definitely require a bit more variety, but its a nice short puzzle for a jam entry.

As for adding more variety to a longer game: 100% agree, even though I'm not quite sure yet what to implement exactely without making the battles tedious and/or overly complex. I'm currently playing around with a few utility orbs (such as healing spells and orbs that change the enemy's weaknesses) alongside with one or two additional elements, but there is nothing set in stone yet.
