Kudos to Ms. Human and Human Jr. for their amazing voice acting performances. Especially Chonker was cute, funny and terrifying all at the same time. The writing was hilarious, too. Really enjoyed it.

Truth be told, I was a bit turned off at first by the extensive tutorials during the first few fights. I understand that the battle system needs some explanation, but I'm personally a lerning-by-doing kind of player, so having a bunch of textboxes interrupting the battles was a bit tedious to me. I still like the combat system and especially the teamwork aspect of it.

Overall, a great and polished entry to this jam. Good job!

Am I a Monsprite Master now? :3

Your game did an incredible job at keeping me interested in pretty much everything. Heck, I even restarted the whole thing three times just to FINALLY win the very first battle vs. Magenta just to see what happens afterwards.

I enjoyed almost everyhing about this game. Both battle systems, the music, the Monsprites themselves (especially Medicinomon - don't ask me why, but I love her), the time travel mechanic, the possibility to enslave humans ... The only thing I honestly disliked was the poop mechanic. I mean, I get it, the mons are supposed to be babies, but I barely see any value in clening up their shit gameplaywise. Maybe I just hate being a Monsprite mommy in general.

This game is incredibly weird - but in a good way. I really love how you emulate elevation with both your custom art and the jump pads. The combat was fun overall (at least in my opinion) but the lack of visual feedback when the player gets hit makes it hard at times to follow what's happening. I also felt that having potions only accessible through the main menu took away momentum during fights.

Storywise I would have appreciated a bit more explanation. I'm still not 100% certain what happened in the end.

Yay for magical girls!

Your game is a great example of how to make both the RTP and the built-in combat captivating. The small maps make it really easy to navigate through the game, whereas the combat felt satisfyingly balanced. Personally I appreciated the small number of skills. Plus adding voice acting to them made me feel like actually playing an anime.

The ending was brutal. Even more shocking than Madoka's Episode 3. Good job!

What a fun little game. I enjoyed the puzzles so much, especially since the later / more complex ones offered many different solutions. You also did a great job increasing the difficulty with each new room.

I would have appreciated different colors or sprites for different "timelines" since having multiple player sprites run across the maps made it a bit confusing.

I'm not gonna lie - You scared me for a brief moment. :D

Thank you for your sweet comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the game overall.

Thanks KV for this sweet, sweet comment. I'm really happy that you (and others) liked my game. And YES I would've loved to implement a few more puzzles for each room.

Hey 3b48, thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.

The bookshelf responses were quite a spontaneous idea. All I wanted was to avoid having the exact same textbox pop up for each part of the shelves and then I kinda went overboard with it, lol. Ah well, looks like it was totally worth it. :D

Thanks Human! I'm glad you enjoyed the game overall. And sorry for my late reply. Last week was incredibly busy.

As for adding more variety to a longer game: 100% agree, even though I'm not quite sure yet what to implement exactely without making the battles tedious and/or overly complex. I'm currently playing around with a few utility orbs (such as healing spells and orbs that change the enemy's weaknesses) alongside with one or two additional elements, but there is nothing set in stone yet.

Haha, true. No slimes were harmed in the making of this game! :D

Thanks for playing.

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the battles. :)

Hey Kurimu, thanks for playing!

I do plan on creating a bigger project including a more fleshed out version of this game's battle system. Not sure how much randomness I'll manage to include though.

Thank you for pointing out that bug as well. I'll fix it right after the jam's voting period is over.
