I found balancing the 4 resource bars to be an interesting way to manage the risk of my decisions, but definitely think that I ran into some bad RNG leaving me without food and cutting my run short even though I wasn't struggling in combat or taking unnecessary damage at the time.
The pixel art might come off as really low-res to some, but since the pixel density on all the environments and characters is similar it does a good job at making the world and characters all fit together well and it is well executed for the amount of pixels you had per sprite/texture. The smokey shader/FX work on the enemies does make them seem more ominous too so that's a nice touch.
