Neat idea! And the music is simple but catchy.
You also did well to introduce movement and obstacles to the player.
You could maybe try looping the music even after you die? I think it would have a nicer feel to it and the music would not end abruptly. Try playing around and see if it fits!
Also having more visual cues to understand how certain obstacles work would help.
