Aesthetically it's based on Spica adventure, very fun but simple taito arcade platformer.

I decided to have no game over state and base the challenge on utilizing optimal movement while collecting objects, items, hitting enemies without touching the ground to obtain a grand highscore.

The boss'es are generally just a button mash to get a massive combo for an even larger score total.

It's cool.

Yeah also, but Spica is a game made in 2004, 5 years later than Mr. Driller (Whose aesthetic was the basis of inspiration for that game).

What's more, I recently just see a little bit about the game, and the Spica's little girl gave me a curiosity:

It seems like he carries an umbrella and supposedly comes from space, both details are references that also seem to coincide with another little girl that comes to mind, yes I mean Hat Kid (from A Hat in Time).

I would also like to see an AHiT fangame with a Spica's gameplay XD.
