Nothing in our system will explicitly stop you from doing that, but I strongly recommend not doing it. When you complete our tax questionnaire you will likely be telling us that you are the recipient of the income. If you have the money going to a different account then you may run into trouble in the future if your finances are ever audited. Generally speaking, if you’re running a business, you want to keep the flow of money very clear so there is not any confusion about which income is whose.

Thank you for your answer. I was also thinking that that could hapend.

But neverteless It's my wife's account and we are married and I do intent to declare ALL I earn and pay ALL my taxes. I do not fear any audition because the money is from my work, it just on my wife's bank account (here in portugal there is no problem with that). I just dont see a need to have a new bank account (and me and my wife are also thinking about making the bank account a shared one).

If i can make any kind of financial success I do intend in the future to make a new bank account only in my name but for the moment I just dont see if making one is really needed (my game can make only a few bucks...)

I just wanted to know if the payements in future can be in anyway delayed or canceled because the paypal name is my wife's and not mine.

So just to clarify and resume: (besides all the finantial implications) There will not be any impediment for me to recive the earnings of my game's sales if I use my wife's paypal account. Is that so?

At this time we don’t have a requirements for the name on the recipient PayPal account to match the name on tax details provided.
