I'm not sure how to increase the power? I think it is by collecting those squares that are dropped from enemies but that bar didn't always go up by collecting into it.
The music also gets a bit repetitive but otherwise the game plays and looks nice.
Red drops increase power.
and the blue ones?
Score. Darker blue gives 10 and cyan gives 5.
