Obviously, this game looks gorgeous and it has a nice soundtrack to back it up. It definitely brings out what a 2D platformer should in the level design with secrets and backtracking slightly to perform linear actions.
It always amazes me how these simple games can be so frustratingly hard at random parts. Everything was alright until the final boss stage in which I believe I lost about 30-40 times from the one flying enemy and sometimes the first wall hugger out of shear frustrated impatience.
Also, I had some frustration trying to figure out the complete outlines for objects. The art sort of blends together to make it hard to separate objects at a glance and this often either got me hit or make me question how close/far ledges were.
Overall, this is a nice, simple 2D platformer with above average assets to go with it (Boss music was pretty noice).
