Yep, you could do a goreless version for the jam and add the splatter after it ends. I would also accept it if you had an on/off option to toggle the splatter.
The problem with the game idea in question is that blood is in the name. And it just wouldn't be that game without gratuitous amounts of blood. I have another idea i can bring to the table though.
