Scratch won’t be something we can help grow into game development, There are a lot of tools to be found, Scratch being more of a tool than a game engine. Just to say this jam is geared to push your development to more possibilities. Sorry if it’s a deal breaker, I hear great things about Godot and Lua, Unity was a nice step for me had a lot of tutorials and help.

im a kid so thats all i can use

Godot is a great starting off engine that is similar :D If the game can not be played on itch than the community would have a hard time finding it. We have a wide range of ages and skills.

The community is a welcoming one, for starting out kids too. Some people still haven’t picked something to use. If you understand Scratch then you are well on your way to learn something more, we will be here to help you expand your new skills. If you want to, no pressure just a helping hand to you. Let me know what you think of this.

ok ive been looking for another coding website

actually it seems a bit hard to learn in 2 days

Maybe this will help: https://itch.io/jam/level-up-circle-beginner-jam-1/topic/1371743/ressources-for-beginners-how-to-start

uh you can make it into a file by making a game, file, save to computer, then upload it to itch.io

can you still use scratch now?
