I really don't know if it would be expensive. It is a single payment and from what I think (I really do not know) it includes updates, something that most of the software you mention charge you monthly, they do not sell you the product if not a subscription. On the other hand, you also have several blocks to create assets since we go to prices, you have assets of the same quality and art and with less possibility of customization from 10 to 20 usd so it would be cheaper. I use blender (opensource 0usd) and unity community so the investment was worth what I paid for, I can build my blocks in blender, customize them, use them in assetforge to create levels or content and export it to unity. Also Kenney on his website has many assets that can be added to collections (some are more adaptable than others). I think that if your concern is the total price with all the software you use, you should see what suits you best and suits your style of art or games, I don't do 2D art, I don't draw well and that's why I handle 3D and yes I wish, I could create 2D scenarios with assetforge with 3D models and it would save me art trouble.
