Oh wow! Well, you know what, this platform had no purpose, and it was just (possibly a poor choice of) decor, but we're so happy it got you learning about javascript and how the game is made. A couple of years ago, there was this thing called Game Genie, it would let players poke at the memory of the game that's running on the console, I guess what you did is akin to a modern equivalent of that. Anyways, if anyone asks again about the platform, we'll just say that it purpose is to inspire people to hack the game.
