Managed to get to the lose at the boss twice. I think the second time without needing to use demo keep playing cheat. Combat seemed to work well once I got the feel for it. The one thing that caused me some confusion at first is why I couldn't use the grenade card. Figured out its cause of scrap, but maybe also have crap cost next/near to mana cost?
Could be a bit hand holdy but maybe considering ordering the cards in the players hand based off they can even play it? So if it has scape cost and there is a card that only costs mana, have the mana only one placed first. I dont think it would change anything in terms of actual balance. Could also just be a pain to implement depending what other mechanics you plan to add.
Saw you post about the arrows keys/direction moved. I feel like the up/down an right/left should be reversed. So Up arrow takes you "north-east". (probably just make it a selectable option since everyone's preference will be different.)
On the map I also noticed if I say hold up and right arrows and run into a wall I wont move , even though I could move in one of those two directions, felt like it would make sense to still move in the direction I can move in. I dont actually know how most games do this, but I ran into this a few times here due to the iso movement feeling a bit wonkey to me.
