I spent a lot of time designing the game's UI, I didn't like it, too static, too basic, boring to death. I even hired an artist specialized in ui but I didn't like the rendering either...
I decided to do it myself in the end and I don't regret the result.
For the tutorial I agree, some arrows would not be too much. I couldn't find any good brushes so I preferred to leave them empty rather than putting something ugly.
The hidden money is an obviously controversial mechanic, but I repeat it is not obligatory. It just gives a bonus of money (which is not useful for the moment). In v0.2 the points where the money is hidden will be indicated except in the new backgrounds.
The look of the mc is generic and it's a choice that has been wanted, the game will follow a shonen/seinen type of development, so the look is likely to change over time.
There is no need to update the page, version 0.2 was announced in late June and early July, the bosses will be able to play it 3 weeks before everyone else.
