Thanks! That one items disappearing bug has haunted the game forever, even a full QA team hasn't found how to reproduce it - am hoping to track it down soon.
Oof! That's so frustrating. I'll let you know if I find anything that hints towards it; I feel like it may have been around "accidentally mashing a bunch of buttons when trying to reach a ledge after hanggliding" but :shrug:
