The visuals and gameplay (especially control aspects) need some work, but the story and mood is very cool :)
I enjoyed dialogs and the spookyness (this red glitchy thingy is really weird!). And I always appreciate breaking a fourth wall, so big kudos for that! :)
Maybe in future you could make it more like an old Zelda/Pokemon games, with this kind of isometric perspective, and that you can really explore this small, spooky village.
