This games fun but also frustrating -- not in a bad way, the game feels fair and despite having lots of rng elements it feels like if your smart and have patience you won't die.
Reminds me a bit of bop-it, making quick easy decisions between music beats and eventually you mess up due to time pressure.
I'm on level 31, happy the BPM locked at 160 :P

I only see 1 thing potentially wrong with the game.
The closed treasure chest sprite with a key hole is potentially confusing when the other interactable is a key.
And on Linux Mint when the song changes I get a loud audio pop, which is a shame because otherwise the audio is fantastic :)
(Might check later if this also happens on windows.)

But yea, the game's fun <3

Thank you 8bitpineapple. These are all good observations and I'm impressed that you made it to level 31.

Beyond 160bpm the music feels absurdly rushed so that's where I capped it. After that, the frequency of ghosts increases a bit and the max number of ghosts continues to climb. If this were not a time-limited jam game, I would have liked to add story elements, pickups, extra moves and so on to keep the interest going in different ways.

Good point about the chest. I wanted to keep it recognisably similar to Gauntlet but maybe a coin or a diamond, or even a disco ball would have been better.

The changeover from one tempo to the next is not very smooth anyway. I should see if a fast fade-out will fix it.

Thanks again for all the feedback!
